Episode 10-3

Later that night, when it was almost dawn, an unexpected person came to my tabernacle with a servant.
It was Claire.

She came to plead for our troops in exchange for her own life.
But I had no choice but to treat it as impossible.
The sword of the times has already been thrown.
The battle cannot be stopped. It’s not just my judgment.
It was very, very sad.

I tell her that when it starts moving, I can’t stop it anymore.
She knows everything.
She said, “Yes, I know everything. Everything we can’t do anything about.”
She continues her words.
“Everything is wrong. We too. You too.”

Claire’s heart is about to be crushed by sadness.

I was impressed by the desire to save Claire alone in the dim light, but I didn’t think that was the case.
Just before she left, when she put on the hood, I couldn’t forget her gaze, her hatred, suffering, and sadness, her eyes.
She tried to kiss me softly as she left, but I avoided it.
My decision not to accept her was all about this fight.
Claire was terribly overwhelmed by despair and left behind. I will secretly see you off.
My heart was sadder than her.

Before the sun rose, we again marched on the fleet to pincer attack the island, and the operation worked very well, and the island collapsed without waiting for noon.

Upon landing, there were piles of corpses everywhere, with a burning human scent or something.

The shore was fishy with the smell of blood flowing from the corpse.
My heart is once again struck by emptiness.

Then, we will check the war situation and hunt the remnants.
We discover Claire in the courtyard of the royal palace.
She was dead over her cover, as if to protect her maid.
Claire was killed when her back was picked up with a sword.

I intended to end my despair. But I can’t stop my tears from overflowing.
I pull her sword out of Claire’s back and hold her in her arms.

At dusk that day, we politely bury them in the culture of the island.
